What feedback is GM recieving about the Volt?

Check out the fastlane blog. The feedback is the most positive I've ever read about GM product, and from people that are currently driving imports.

GM -- please build it and I'll gladly dump my Prius.

I too would make a down payment now to keep the faith and get on the "pre-purchase" list.

Where do I send the check?
WOW!

GM hurry up and build this monster of a hybrid/electric vehicle. I think that it'll put a smile on everyone's face to see a Toyota owner dump his/her Prius for this significantly better car.

Re: What feedback is GM recieving about the Volt?

The Volt is pure vaporware. It cannot be built before better batteries are developed, and no one knows how soon this will happen.

So GM cannot hurry up and build it. It is not currently buildable.

Its not buildable at an affordable price, but should be by 2010 witch is really not that far off

The provided dates are "2010 to 2012." So they don't really know. Might happen, might not. I'll be much more excited if and when it actually happens.
