So B and C cars are what then? Cruze and Orlando I thought? I also thought the Volt was being built here and that is Delta Platform too same as Cruze so why build the same Platform at two separate plants in two different states?
Same reasons there will be three plants for E2. They need it. Cruze will sell in high enough volumes (hopefully) to warrent another plant.

Cruze is a C-Class, but Lake Orion will be building the Buick C Class cars.

Am I the only one that thinks a FWD Escalade will bomb? I'd much rather see the Denali concept for GMC with the Escalade moved to Zeta, rather than Lambda. I guess that's just mee though??

I'd like to see some official news from GM .
It seems doubtful so soon after the bidding war for the small car they would announce SH getting these vehicles. The people of Michigan surely would feel duped and where spending millions by a bankrupt company for a gas miser could be acceptable, building a replacement for the avalanche doesn't seem so. GM does want to get rid of people so the more that leave the better, that leaves more jobs paying $14/hr

I was told almost a year ago that all lambdas were set to wear v8's as an option with the exception of the saturn outlook. FWD doesn't sound popular to me either. However gm is pretty far down the road with this decision.

Which Impala will be built in Oshawa? Rear wheel drive I hope.
What differences between the LaCrosse and Cadillac EpiII?
Thanks for the information!

They're letting Enclaves into China? No way. The Chinese actively fight imports.

I've long thought that that's going to offer us a big opening someday, when the Chinese actually want to send us cars and we say "OK, here comes a boatload full of ours." And watch 'em squirm.

Naw, they'll just make the Lambda 'Slades AWD, all of 'em. That eliminates the issue.

Re-engineering the Zeta to make it tall would be a huge undertaking, one well beyond GM's present means. Won't happen.
