Re: Spring Hill Slated For New Product
Am I the only one that thinks a FWD Escalade will bomb? I'd much rather see the Denali concept for GMC with the Escalade moved to Zeta, rather than Lambda. I guess that's just mee though??

I was told almost a year ago that all lambdas were set to wear v8's as an option with the exception of the saturn outlook. FWD doesn't sound popular to me either. However gm is pretty far down the road with this decision.

I've long thought that that's going to offer us a big opening someday, when the Chinese actually want to send us cars and we say "OK, here comes a boatload full of ours." And watch 'em squirm. |

Re-engineering the Zeta to make it tall would be a huge undertaking, one well beyond GM's present means. Won't happen. |
