Oshawa Train Filled With New Trucks Derails

The following are photos of a recent train derailment that happened near GM's Oshawa, Ontario plant that produces the current Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks. As you can see from the images, the train was hauling the new trucks to dealerships.

Yes, and it's the fear of the much superior GM eight-year-old platform that provides the motivation.

Re: Oshawa Train Filled With New Trucks Derails

NOOOO! It hurts to look. Can I get some parts?

Guess these will be going to the yard. Ekstensive knows someone in Oklahoma that gets vehicles like these that are damaged. They've gotten two H2s and an Escalade that fell off the train cars.

good question...

if they do, i have an idea of how to keep UAW members busy and inflate GM's sales numbers... and if the insurance companies pay full MSRP instead of w/ rebates price, they might even make some money off of it...
