New GM Radios iPod Adaptable

The new GM radios include an auxiliary channel and front mounted auxiliary input jack, so that an iPod or other audio source can be easily plugged in and played through the vehicle audio system.

Some of GM's latest vehicles DO look like those "stylish" iPod owners.

Put it in the cobalt and in the Saturn cars and make sure to advertise, young people love their Ipods and GM wants young buyers

Re: New GM Radios iPod Adaptable

Well, it should be in ALL GM cars. Market it mostly in Aveo, Cobalt and Ion as well with HHR, and even Impala and MC.

Re: New GM Radios iPod Adaptable

That reminds me, I've seen some GM radios that have "AUX" displayed on the screen if you press a button, but I don't see any apparent auxiliary "in". What's up with that? An aux port in the back of the head unit?

Cool, I bet you soon GM would have a built in iPod dock as an option. Looks like GM is finally getting into the iPod thing after theHonda Element came out with it two years ago.

Actually, I look for the auxiliary port to be standard.
