With gas prices the way they are, I think there's a market for these midsize SUVs, especially with AFM and the hp coming from the newer V6s. They could be hot sellers again if they were updated and marketed with better fuel economy.
A similar equipped envoy vs, acadia is like nite and day in price. The envoy is a better buy right now by a ton. The acadia should have been a replacement for vehicles like the montanna not their truck bodied suvs. I agree an update is in order instead of losing more market share to the competition.

This product should be merged with the colorado pickup, produced in the same plant with the same powertrain, and sold world wide. The cheap dollar should enable GM to build it here and export it. That way they could continue to offer a body on fame mid sized SUV to those who need it, and use export to keep the plant busy.

Because its an extremely capabale, durable, reliable, and practical vehicle that's also class leading?

The TrailBlazer is a truck's truck and from reading your posts, you don't care much for trucks. Interior quality is an afterthought in a vehicle like this. The Lambdas offer far superior interior quality, yet the TB still sells. That's because a BOF 4x4 SUV is what many people want. Soft touch plastics don't meet well with toolboxes and fishing tackle. My S10 didn't have the worlds best interior, but I didn't care. It did what I needed it to and nothing else would have been better.

Other than the dash what's there to complain about with 360s?

no no no no no. The 360 platform is far superior and TB's powertrains are far superior. The I6 in the TB is a phenomenal engine. The Colorado is too damn small.

Brazil, Russia, India, China, Korea, Middle East also add Argentina. Argentina was interesting because they did get a redisigned TB!!! How you say? Easy we don't sell GMC's there. All we did is build them Envoy's with Chevy TB badges and we were good to go.

I see a ton of Russia, Saudi Arabia, Isreal, Kuwaitt. I say those for what I seen in the first 3 months of this year has equaled 80% of exports (exl Canada).

On a sad but true note. If you look at many bombings in Iraq and look closely what vehicle was bombed. or was used as a bomb. You will see a lot of GMT 360's.

We at GMC are running out of them and people still want them! They are the best lease payment we have in the GMC lineup! Please get back to work!

Re: More GM Moraine workers set to return (GMT360)

Only reason these dinosaurs sell (especially in the US) is because they are now cheap. cheap cheap. Their replacement would have launched this year but was canceled a couple years ago. The interior would have been sweet too....light piping and a very nice cockpit....! But, canceling them was a smart move by GM. This is a dieing class of vehicle (BOF SUV) and the current variant does nothing for GMs reputation. GM should just stop selling them in the US at least.

Why should they stop selling them in the US? All GM needs to sell is about 170,000 units a year to keep a plant viable. Remember that isn't just US sales. You also have to think about what will happen if just everyone gets out of the market. Looks like only Toyota, GM, and Jeep will be in the market of building mid size SUV's BOF.

I still say I want to build something else Moraine Assembly's flexible workforce is there to build 350,000+ units a year. Put us back to 3 Crews 2 Shifts 6 Days a week schedule.
