Another completely useless list seeing as how #32 and #34 are the North American leaders in real world sales.

Fleets don't lease. And they don't lease BMW's or Corvettes. I think it's safe to consider this a "retail" list.

Another interesting thing to me is the that the overwhelming majority of the whole list are import products.

Since when don't fleets lease? My dealer delivered 12 Grand Prixs to a food manufacturer near me just recently...they were GMAC leased...we also got their turn ins, as we bought a few for service loaners...

But look at the top 10, it hardly looks like cars that a company would lease.

Re: Leasing: Most Popular Models

Assuming these are retail sales and that Honda buyers typically have the highest household incomes really speaks to the strength of the brand. They’re obviously doing something right.

Just because they "sell the most" doesn't mean they are leased the most. More like another completly usless post by you and your failure think before you type

Leasing may be the only way most people can afford these cars at the top. Just move the metal.
I've got to believe a 36 mo. lease on a vette is about $300 less than a 48 mo. loan.

Re: Leasing: Most Popular Models

Don't know how leases are setup in the states but I know why Bimmers lease well in Canada - 3.3% lease rate with 60% residual. Makes a 325 with sport package have the same lease rate as an Acura RSX (not type-R). And BMW pays the maintenance.

No brainer...

How about the Camry? I happen to know of a pharmaceutical company around here with Camry's now instead of Taurus'...I think those are 12 month lease fleet deals as well...

People, read carefully, this is a list of internet "hits" for a model, not actual leases!!!
