IL:What's New for Every 2009 Car, Truck, Crossover and SUV

What's New for Every 2009 Car, Truck, Crossover and SUV

Car sales are in the toilet. High gas prices, falling real estate value and banks going bust have put a stake in the heart of the auto industry. Even Toyota is feeling the pinch. Annual auto sales, which peaked in 2005 at 17 million units, are estimated to reach just 14.5 million units this year. That'll make 2008 the worst sales year since 1993.

But there's good news. 2009 and all the new 2009 cars and trucks are right around the corner. And we've got them all right here.

Good stuff, too. From the new 2009 Acura TL to the new 2009 Audi A4, from the new 2009 Chevy Traverse to the new 2009 Dodge Ram, the new 2009 Nissan Maxima and the new 2009 VW Jetta TDi, Inside Line has every change to every car, truck, crossover and SUV covered. We even included Tesla, just for fun.

If you want to know what's new for 2009 in the world of car and trucks, you've come to the right place. Enjoy. — Scott Oldham, Inside Line Editor in Chief

Hmm... No Chevy Camaro listed, guess it's because GM is calling it a 2010 model.

It said that the Escape received a "mild cosmetic refresh" last year. I wouldn't call a new interior and every single exterior panel changed 'mild.'

I know it has a similar look, but it was all new
