Inside INdiana Business has learned that a major announcement is planned Thursday regarding the future of the General Motors Powertrain Foundry in Bedford. A source familiar with the announcement says it involves an investment by GM that will secure work at the plant “for years to come”.

It is said to be the result of months of work that has included contract language changes authorized by the United Auto Workers Union.
