GM Extends The 72 Hour Sale Through July 7th

Source: GM Marketing Email

I received an email from Chevrolet this morning.

The 72 Hour Sale has been extended until July 7th.

This may be good news - Would they extend this sale if it wasn't working?

We'll find out at 1:45PM today.

For more information on the GM 72 Hour Sale:
http://www.gm.com/shop/currentoffers/

Deal of the day: GM has added cash to the Saab 9-7X lease. Current Saab owners can lease a $40,625.00 Saab 9-7X for just $ 432.00 a month for only 27 months, with NO MONEY DOWN. Details at Saab.com.

I hope it is working. I think we're all worried about June sales numbers. How bad will they be?

working? we're almost out of product at my main store. it's impossible to properly forecast the business when GM pushed and pulls the market. plus, the factory is losing it's shirt with these giveaways. what sense is there in this lunacy? yesterday GMAC crashed, aps had to be faxed, over an hour on hold at a crack to speak to someone at lease loyalty. dealer world went down as well. the system couldn't handle the volume. sheer stupidity and I say that having made some pretty healthy commissions, still no way to run a business.

Cheer up - Today is the 3rd anniversary of the "GM Employee Discount Sale". Be thankful they didn't bring it back.

of course they extended it. They have extended it the last few years past the original date.

With the markups they offer us now it's a joke.

It is a great deal. Shame we are not in the market right now. Looking forward to 2010 when my wife's Freestyle is paid off and we go for an Enclave to replace it.

Maybe it is working. I drove past the local Saab dealer on Saturday (the only one for about 50 miles I think). Normally the place is a ghost town. But last weekend it was CRAWLING with people. I was shocked. Good to see though!

Re: GM Extends The 72 Hour Sale Through July 7th

Does anyone have the full details on this deal? Is the GM loyalty cash ($4000 on a Tahoe or Yukon) combinable with the 0%? What about the $500 that GM was throwing in if people actually bought the car rather than leased? I've got an 08 Acadia, but I did the math and I could trade it in for about the same amount as the Tahoe LTZ would be (Invoice less the 4500) and with the 0% I'd save $200 a month on the payment. Bonus? The Tahoe can run on E85 which quite a few stations around me have. It's under $3 per gallon while gas here is $4.08. I'm giving it some serious thought....

Re: GM Extends The 72 Hour Sale Through July 7th

I took advantage of it! Bought my new HHR SS with it. They are disappearing off the lots at an insane rate, so I'm glad I didn't wait to make up my mind.
I missed my chance to use the employee pricing sale last time around, so I jumped on this one.

0% for 72 months? That's free money right there. Keep your money stashed away somewhere where it will make interest.
