Re: GM Exec: No Plans To Pull Saab Out Of North American Market; Line Is Profitable I

All the Thetas are already RHD compatible, there are enough RHD markets to justify that. I'd rather see a 9-1 here too, I can't quite imagine a 9-5 convertible, and the 9-6X (or 9-4X) should only exist if the SRX is gone. Since the latter is inexplicably ugly, I am all for it.

Saab should become GM's developer of turbo engines while only building limited editions marketed as Saabs maybe justifiying the high sticker.

And yes, Trollhattan is much more efficient that Ruesselsheim, it was purely political and rather ugly to move any Saab to Germany. Saab knew it had to be efficient in small series long ago, Ruesselsheim just sits there and expects costs to be covered due to being "Opel's Heimatstadt".

Saab isn't profitable since they are a member of GM.
How does this come?
If they are so efficient the would earn money for GM.
