They want that 11 Billion though, Jay. That's a tough cookie jar to ignore.

marinerbc, don't listen to that crap - because its not the case.

There is 7 billion of debt on Chrysler's books to JP Morgan etc - 'borrowed' post Daimler ie that has to be paid off at the time of merge.

Since JP Morgan is the instigator and is helping to rush the deal along a fair estimate is that they don't plan on continuing that loan.

A big chunk of this was used in Cerebus's initial purchase but it's on Chrysler's books.

After this that and the other, GM would be lucky to net 2.5 - 3 billion.

Depending on the exact details that in turn could get used up as an extra cost for the merge itself ie no net cash.

Wrong again. I'm not sure which set-up Toyota is referring to in that ad, but it's not apples to apples. When choosing the largest available engine with 4WD Toyota has the worst EPA estimated mileage of the 4 major truck manufacturers:

Chevy Silverado: 14/19MPG
Ford F-150: 14/18MPG
Dodge Ram: 14/18MPG
Toyota Tundra 13/17MPG

These figures are according to http://www.edmunds.com/

So as you can see in 4x4 mode toyota tundra does get better mpg right from their own websites tooo.....

it is a well known fact that the crown vic is the biggest cop car on the market and the chevy impala and dodge charger are way smaller cars. And lets face it ford has a 90% market share for cop cars. The crown vic has the space and reliability that cops are looking for since no other auto companies in the planet makes a cop car as big.
You are without a doubt, one of the worst posters on the forum - your accuracy overall runs at about 20% - and that's a charitable estimate.

my mpg for the f150 is for the non fuel efficent model which is for one model trim level only. MY findings are driectly from the manufactors own website with a link tha ti provided. Were is your link?

and with the crown vic according to your own numbers the Crown Vic still is bigger then the 300c.... so who is the one that is accurate here man..... I take it you must work for the liberal media elite. Also the 300c does even look to be as large as the Crown Vic. Plus alot of people like the looks of the crown vic or ford would not be selling them hand over fist to people....

the metric system is the first line of attack by socialist and communists alike. Thank god in the 1980's congress under the 2nd greatest president Ronald Regan, Bush is the 1st greatest president) repealed the metric system from ever taking place. I would sonner die then switch to the metric system and as i told my teachers and professors, this is america and we use the english system! We are the worlds greatest country on the face of the planet. and the other countries need to follow our lead or elsw those countries may face the full wrath of America!
