Retired GM executives were told that they could offer employee discounts to two people a month in April and May.

Through April, GM sales are down 4.9 percent and U.S. market share has slipped to 25.4 percent from 27 percent last year.

"It's desperation," CNW President Art Spinella said of GM's move to allow retirees to give away discounts.

Being on the list of auto companies that are suing to block laws to reduce global warming emissions does not convince conscientious consumers to buy.

Relying on federal lawmakers to take away local control of the air that we are breathing will not make loyal customers. GM needs stop wasting its efforts on lawsuits that block progress on clean air and should innovate by building extremely clean cars.

Yesterday's mail bought an offer from the GM Card I could not believe.

I had given my points to my mother to purchase a 2004 Mailbu. This left me with a zero point balance.

GM has now (until 06/30/05) added $1000 to the account at no charge.

Since when was it allowed to transfer GM points from the GM Card?

You may transfer your points to any relative living at your billing address.

This is not new, it has always been the case.

Isnt this the same GM in the Driveway thats been offered forever???

And its not Employee pricing....its Supplier pricing...5% more than GMS
