Bring all holden product here and let holden guys from australia manage brand. Do not let them do anything with detroit. Same with saturn change name to opel. and let opel guy manage that brand fire all saturn people in detroit. Have china manage buick since they can do it well. FIre all guys from detroit that manage buick. Just let detroit manage chevy. That is it. This way you will get rid of 5 devisions with out paying money to dealers and you will get money from selling brands. This is only way gm can make money. If they continue to support brands like Saturn, Pontiac, Hummer, saab and caddy. GM will fail too. If gm did all of this gm would be a true global company that sells all of its brands and product all over the world and making money while doing that. People need to realize that age of American car industry is over.
Wow are you related to VCDJ or just him under another name again cause you talk as much crap as he does, i cant see anything in what you say that would help GM in anyway, seriously dude take your head out of your *ss before posting such crap

These issues compel us to rate the shares a Sell with a six-month target price of $7.00.
Would be kinda ironic if Buickman, who suffers lots of criticism on this site, made a prediction that was correct. I think he believes five bucks is a more realistic target.

GM announced the suspension of its dividend on July 15th in order to preserve liquidity and increase available cash.
While suspending the dividend makes an already unattractive stock that much more unattractive, this is certainly a prudent move on the General's part. The name of the game is conserving cash pretty much in every realm except perhaps in the case of product development.

Re: General Motors Stock Outlook

I hate to admit it, but I agree that the Pontiac name is so badly damaged that I am COMPLETELY unable to get anyone I work with to consider one. Change the name on the dealerships to "Holden". Buick is also one that is hell to sell. Nobody wants to goto a party and tell everyone, "Hey, I just bought a new Buick today!".

If GM prices the Volt at $40K+, its all over but the crying.

They have improved since when? GM management are driving this brand off of a cliff... The division has ONLY ONE car that sells... Sure it a great car... but how long can a division survive with only one car? GM managment refuses to bring the Chinese SLS here (for the same reason they play c**ktease with the Beat... crash safety) Its never their fault... there is always someone else to blame... If you can't make a 4100 pound car safe you have issues..

Power plants? Whell the Northstar V8 is way long in the tooth now... and yup GM Mangement have killed the replacement... Like the soup Nazi... No 32valve V8 for you!

The new STS has been a sales dog since 2005... it looks like it was built by a committee and the total lack of sales support this POV... What has GM done with this once DOMINATING brand and name... Basically nothing... They killed it... It's dead, and GM Management will make it history by 2011.

But all is not lost, right? GM is bringing out a DTS replacement right!? NOPE they have killed that too... By 2013 we will have No STS, No DTS No XLR.

Yup leaps and bounds... right into the grave.

BTW the stock is not trading at 10.25... We are back in the 9's now trading at the 9.75 range

They're going cheap only $20.00, nope 15.50, nope 14.77, nope 13.77... CRAP $11.50 OMG 10.06

Stop the presses! The turnaround has begun... we are back trading in the 12's
Never mind back in the 10's, 9's, 8's, 7's, 6's, 5's, 4's, 3's $2's, 1.70 Anyone Surprised?

Re: General Motors Stock Outlook

Typically when everyone is really negetive on the stock and the economy as a whole, that is when one buys at least 1/2 a position.

I sold 1/2 of my position around $15, but I will buy back if there is strong pressure.
