Re: Future of Detroit/Hamtramck?

Let's hope DHam quality remains high. GM seems to reward plants with high-quality output (Wilmington, Oshawa) and close plants that don't (Baltimore). If things turn around for GM in the next couple of years, they'll find something for that plant as long as the quality is high.

Re: Future of Detroit/Hamtramck?

it would be wise to make that another caddy-exclusive plant, with the expanded lineup on the horizon

Re: Future of Detroit/Hamtramck?

Too bad GM wiped out a complete neighbourhood just 25 years ago to create this plant... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poletown ...and now they are going to abandon it...
