I'd say, at best, a hatchback.
So, at worst, what is it?

Sample size must have been 15 with 6 voting Astra and 9 voting Mazda 5. Both very good cars, but neither a sales success, although the Astra is new in the market and high gas prices have made the Mazda 5 sell despite little or no advertising by Mazda for it.

The Astra is a nice car, but as far as best coupe under $25K, I'd beg to differ on an epic scale.

It's on par with the regular Civic and the Mazda3, despite not having a sunroof or auxilliary jack for $20,000, but if you're going by performance alone, almost every other compact on the market is a better choice. Still, nice to see it's on there.

I'd love to say that this is a good showing for the Astra but... these results are simply bizarre and the result of either odd available choices or a very unconventional sample population.

Mariner Hybrid over Escape Hybrid? Does it have that much more recognition?

Mazda5? People notice these? (Kudos to Mazda, though, for continuing to offer them... not a bad car)

R-Class? Azera? This is just downright weird.

These results mean nothing to me, other than to say that regular Edmunds visitors are a tad alternative.
