Damn Straight, this is a sweet little car. Now it only needs to translate into more sales. Sales have been increasing a decent amount each month. Hopefully it can get 1500+ this month, but I think it will be more around 1200, maybe less with the shipping issue earlier this month.

Re: Edmunds.com Announces Inaugural Consumers' Top Rated Vehicle Awards for 2008

I voted for that and it was a very very odd survey

nowhere near comprehensive list of models ..... all of sudden a model I wanted to vote for (and should have been an option) was not EVEN OFFERED as an option ...

Of course I mostly noticed Fords missing .. so I voted for GM ....

but still -what is the significance of a survey when you do not give people the option of all models. ....

The amount of Audis is interesting.

The appearance of the Astra is great! I'm glad to see it made the list.

Look at the price breaks - Malibu was cut in two.

Come to think of it, thats a strange way to bust up classes.

Its an interesting list thats for sure.

Biggest surprise - I think - no Honda.

Reading it if there was not enough votes for a certain vehicle by April 30th then it wouldn't make the list.

so based on that the Malibu might not have had enough votes in as well as the new Honda Accord.

Re: Edmunds.com Announces Inaugural Consumers' Top Rated Vehicle Awards for 2008

VW and Audi are one...so Toyota and VW are tied for first with 5. But in all honesty I'm not going to take this survey too seriously. Not to bash GM, but the Astra hasn't sold enough and isn't a good enough car to have won if it was a more realistic survey. Its not a bad car, but lacking too many features necessary in the American market and shows its European roots a little too much.

"Sedan Under $15,000 Scion XD "? This is a sedan?

I'd say, at best, a hatchback.
