Re: Delta II family of cars to debut in Paris?

Does anyone have a list or chart that shows which models present and future are built off which platform? That would be a handy little reference guide.

GMI has a handy one...

You can also check out wikipedia for "GM Platforms"

Hope that helps...

Different groups working on different cars built at different plants. No reason we can't see both come out at the same time. The sooner the better as was already said.

I can't remember, where is the next Cobalt going to be built? Did they decide in the national contract with the UAW to leave it where it is currently?

I hope not, the build quality is piss poor. I think GM should axe any Plant that scores below average in quality-that means byebye to Lordstown and byebye to wherever the dreadful minivans are built. I'd rather they build the Cobalt in Canada than where its built now. They cant even line up weather stripping properly!

Did someone at the Lordstown plant steal your winnin lottery ticket or call your mom a bad name?

Anyway, my brother has a 1995 Cavalier and it still runs fine and looks fine. Are you basing your thoughts on actual facts or it is simply GM/US bashing?

C&D told us that the CTS was on the gamma platform so these mags are not all that filled with information.

I have a 2006 Cobalt so I am speaking from experience. The weatherstripping on all doors had to be removed and reapplied, as did another place on the car. There is a gap around my headlights big enough to stick a finger through not to mention misaligned pieces. My dealer said these problems were common with the car.
The Plant sucks.

Re: Delta II family of cars to debut in Paris?

Does anyone know if the platform will still have the twist beam rear axle or is it switching to an independent rear suspension?
