Chevy Cobalt, singlehandedly turning the "Import Tuner Lifestyle" into the "Tuner Lifestyle".

The Base Skylines are RWD but the high end GTRs are AWD

Saying cobalt in the same sentence as Skyline make my mouth hurt.... thats like comparing a civic to a Vette...

These shows are so out of touch with what people are really doing with there cars. I have yet to see one that is not overly 2F2F.

Chop Cut Rebuild is one of the most boringly put together car shows ever. If boringly is not a word, then CCR created it.
Second, WTF a 93 Nissan...give me a break. A 93 Skyline to a current Skyline is barely a sensible comparison. These 3 cars are going to be so completely different, who cares.

I agree. CCR would be more interesting if it were out together better. And the music gets annoying sometimes.

On topic, I think it's good that GM is getting the Cobalt out to the ImPort TunErZ crowd, butI, like many, am still sick of it. WTF has SPEED Channel become? It's taking the route of VH1, who once was a music channel, and has now become a celebrity this/whatever E1 Entertainment Television.

Re: Cobalt SS to Battle the Imports on upcoming "Street Tuner Challenge" Show

As muhc as I absolutely despise these "car people" who are being so misinformed about cars and how they work, I think the Cobalt beating them all out is definatly a good thing. I checked one out at the dealer the other day and it wa pre riced by the dealer. New black wheens, and some nasty stickers plastered over it, but it was a decent looking car regardless. I would drive it if they took those **************** stickers off it, stickers for parts that wern't on the car.

I hope this beats out the Civic, as long as they don't anal rape the Cobalt liek they've done to the poor Civic. Keep the nasty wings and stickers off the **************** things!

MTV, G4TV, Speed - those are three channels with "tuner" type shows on them that I can think of. Any more? It may be kinda like a virus, but I'm happy as long as GM isn't left out in the cold.

Re: Cobalt SS to Battle the Imports on upcoming "Street Tuner Challenge" Show

I agree Speed is definitely worthless. This comparison is strange as well, If you make them all the latest models: a Jetta with an I5, a Cobalt with a Supercharged 4 and an Infiniti G35 Coupe with a friggin amazing V6? One of these things is not like the other...guess which one!
