Ford's F150 and Explorer are the chocolate wafer to the rest of the list's cream filling, sandwiching everyone else between their respective #1 and #10 rankings. General Motors has the most vehicles in the top ten list, with the quartet of Cobalt, Malibu, G6, and Silverado 1500.

It is comforting that Cobalt is made at Lordstown and "American Assembled" I wouldn't necessarily call it made until I have the parts content.

I also believe MANY people confuse the two.

I can't help but wonder about the man/woman who gets a paycheck every 2 weeks........do they care if they are "assembling" or "making" a product?

There are 2 Toyotas and one Honda in the top 10....I guess that surprised me a bit. All I hear all day long is how "the parts come from Japan, but they are assembled here". And you start to believe what people say. Shame on me.
