Hopefully real names return like Grand Am or Tempest, I think Torana would be a cool name though.
Torana would be the Holden name if I spelled it right.

Chevrolet had the Caprice/Impala SS, Lumina, Corsica/Beretta 10 years ago. I think there is room for mid-size fwd, full-size fwd, and full-size rwd sedans in Chevrolet's line-up. I want to buy a rwd Impala and will not settle for a fwd car.

Orion, MI:

Are they saying that the G6 continues in its present form until 2011? I guess so.

Re: BREAKING NEWS: UAW Details Future GM Production & Product Plans In Documents Released

what is the difference between Delta and Gamma? I thought Cobalt was Delta ... but it says Cobalt is Gamma.

1) 7 passanger MPV built on Delta starting 2009 ?
2) Chevrolet large notchback in 2010 ?

3) Cobalt replacement in 2009 ..

Anyone knows anything about #1 and #2? #3 is interesting - that is SOON - I believe 2012 was expected.

Igor

Good news all around. Hopefully we can get a fairly extensive update on that G6. 2013 for the replacement seems long though, even by GM standards. Maybe it really is going RWD.

If the G6 is going to continue until 2013 the next facelift (hopefully 2009) will have to really be one for the ages!

How come noone is talking about the Volt platform in 2010, that confirms it.

My guess the Impala will live as a widened and lengthened Malibu; sort of like the 93 and 95.

Probably down in Mexico with the Theta's and next gen-Astra. Business case to get wages lower in North East Ohio, where the cost of living is very low to begin with.

I also noticed MPV7, maybe the minivan lives!

And there is a market for it, it just can not be too conservative, it would need a little excitement, but safety built into its theme.
