How about others names like "Global motors", "Intercontinental motors" (I taught of Continental motors but since there was the Lincoln Continental and Continental Airlines...)?

Re: Analysts skeptical of rumors about an auto-giants merger

AMC has a bit too much baggage associated with it Though GM filing for bankruptcy right after buying chrysler would be a good start to recovery with a much bigger portfolio. I just don't see them being able to reconcile all the brands they have now let alone adding the 3 from chrysler.

Re: Analysts skeptical of rumors about an auto-giants merger

Ideal lineup if it does happen. chrysler and buick merged low end luxury, Jeep Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, H3 to replace commander, Dodge the same truck line up everything else must go, Chevy same line up but with no HD trucks only the 1500 variations for the gasmizer who still needs a part time truck, cadillac same, saturn gone, pontiac G8, G6, G5 nothing more nothing less, Saab see-ya, GMC sorry to say it but you are the weakest link good-bye.
