Transmission Guide Updated

Transmission Guide Updated

I have gotten the new transmission guide up and running. I'm not completely satisfied with the way it looks on HTML, so I will be revising it, but the information and photos are there.

Re: Transmission Guide Updated

The Hydra-Matic 4L80-E/4L85-E specifications read for that of the 3.8L V6 engine...thats the only problem I see. Nicely compiled Nick!

Re: Transmission Guide Updated

Might want to edit the info on the 4L80. I think you ended up with engine specs. Also the subject one and the previous transmission for rear wheel drive, by appearance, are titled as trans axle style.

Re: Transmission Guide Updated

Nice job.
In IE6 I'm seeing a black band running down the center of the table;

<td height="1%" width="3%" bgcolor="#000000">&nbsp;</td>

The non breaking space usually turns a thin border into a thick line, at least that's been my experience .
Also, the cell padding can be increased to move the text off the borders.

It really does look good. Hopefully everyone will appreciate how much work you've put into it.

Re: Transmission Guide Updated

The Allison 1000 also needs to be updated to the six speed.

Re: Transmission Guide Updated

Do you use micromedia? I can convert from plain text to HTML in a flash.

I sure hope the 6 speed family comes across the line very soon.

I thought the Corvette had a rear mounted transaxle with a torque-tube. Is it still T-56 based?

Yeah. It is still a T-56 tranny, just rear mounted.

Isn't there a 4L70E in the Trailblazer SS, or am I making that up?

Didn't the 4L60e replace the 400turbohydramatic? It's been around sooo long.

Re: Transmission Guide Updated

I thought the 3.5L V6 engine available in the Saturn Vue had five speed tranny?

Re: Transmission Guide Updated

Im pretty sure the 4L80e replaced the turbo 400 and the 4l60e replaced the turbo 350. Not 100% positive

Yes, both the '02-'03 3.0L and the '04+ Honda 3.5L use a 5-speed Automatic transmission.

Re: Transmission Guide Updated

Ok guys, I just fixed most of the problem with the transmission page. It looks a little better now.

For those who wondered, I use FrontPage to make the pages.
