I don't think GM execs or even employees are the target audience for the RIA feature. It's an amusing feature for fans of GM vehicles.

If you don't like them, then just ignore them.

Many people on this site prefer the informal suggestion which is far less entertaining.

At no point has anyone stated these are actual production models which is more than can be said about Motor Trend.
I agree.

I have not agreed with or even liked some of the ideas that have been shown previously, but it is a great idea. It really shows off the talent that GMI fans have and how really excited they are with the future of GM!

Re: Revitalization in Action Announcement

I do like to hear a perspective on what we can expect in the future at GM. I happen to like it.

No disrespect intended to anyone, but if you don't like the series, don't read them.

I can't wait to see what's in store for Saab. Mostly, I can't wait unitl the feature resumes at some point.

Great, though I wish it was a different brand like Chevy or GMC or Cadillac since I don't keep up with Saab. Maybe next time.

Re: Revitalization in Action Announcement

Whether you like them or not it's interesting to see these (RIA) ideas, personally I like some but not so much others but all the same I find it interesting. You look at the design and then you get to see if other share your opinion. You comment on the forum and you can read others comments and (for me anyway) you get to see things from a different perspective. Now I know this is all pretty obvious but what's more obvious (and has been previously said) If you don't like it, don't look at it.
All jokes aside if GM management aren't taking any notice of GMI and especially RIA it explains a lot about GM's current situation. The RIA cars may never see the light of day but we all make comments about what we like and what we hate about them and that's free market research GM should be using.

it'd be nice to see some other talent be utilized for this "feature". There are dozens of other artists who might like the opportunity to assist in the the design/chops.

Re: Revitalization in Action Announcement

I do like the idea of a section dedicated to photochops and concept designs, I have liked the idea since Autoweek use to do it. Its a good way for people to design the car they want or would like to see, weather or not its real. It would be a binifit to GM if they checked out any of them like the Pontiacs posted not long ago. So I say, GMI go for it.

Meh. Saabolics will love this, but us regular GM folks won't be all that interested.

Re: Revitalization in Action Announcement

I wonder if they'll do the future Saab 9-4x. If they do, it will be very intereseting to see what they come up with, same with the 9-5. I bet GMI will get credited for this from Edmunds like we did from the previous ones.

I have no problem with someone getting creative. Art has always been my thing.

Just don't hold any hope that GM will pay any attention, they have their vehicles designed for a few years out already, and I highly doubt they would scrap their idea for a fan idea. It would make them look desperate in the eyes of the public.

Re: Revitalization in Action Announcement

I do like the designs that have been featured here based on brands. While I don't like some cars, there is nothing wrong with having some creativity. I for one wish I was that creative and talented to be able to put something like that stuff together. If someone doesn't like it then they don't have to view it, although they will because it gives them something to B**** about.

Not really a fan of Saab but that picture looks interesting. Not exactly my taste but it looks like a modern interpretation of a Saab, it'll be interesting to see the full line up.
