NY Times Recommends GM Inside News For Online Advice!

The New York Times has a special section on Automobiles today (10/25/06). Inside, you will find an article (Page 32) titled: "Online Advise: Snarky or Authoritative or Both".

Among the ten websites reviewed is one most of you know...

Article quote:

Come fall, auto buffs across the country turn their thoughts from what’s now to what’s next. At one time, they looked at car magazines for their once-a-month fill-up; but now the Internet provides daily updates as the auto-show season — January — comes tantalizingly close. So as the fall spy photo and prerelease teases begin, here are the top mainstream and offbeat sites from my bookmark list, in anti-Letterman top-to-bottom style:

GMINSIDENEWS.COM
The biggest fan forum of the world's biggest automaker. With more than 25,000 active members, it's like a dream cruise of Detroit news and products provided by enthusiasts for enthusiasts. And did we mention it's almost entirely forums?

End quote.

Congratulations to all who make this site possible!

This is fantastic news!! I guess now we have to be nice to the NYT!!
This site wouldnt be nearly as cool if it wasnt for the great members that make up this outstanding community. This site will continue to grow because of members like you guys and gals.

Eventhough The NY Times knows nothing about cars, I trust their judgement in websites...haha. Wow, to be mentioned in the same article as TOP GEAR! Now that is presence. Way to go everybody! Keep up the amazing, fun-to-read and diversied posts...I can't wait till the winter!
