Re: GMI Announces New Staff Member, Forum Changes

Thanks for streamlining things a bit, but I'll use this opportunity to complain that 48 is still way, way too many forums.

I understand you want to keep things "logical" (like GM's brand structure ), but content seems to easily get 'buried', and most of the forums only gather a handful of posts per day.

Given the size of the userbase, you might want to consider going down to 12-15 forums, it would be far easier to locate discussions. For example, you could consolidate all the GM brand news down to a couple forums. At any given time, there's probably no more than about 20 active threads in all these put together, which would easily fit on one browser page.

And GMI has been an invaluable site in these interesting times, so thanks for that too!

Congrats MikMak, also good to see the work in developing a relationship with GM Holden.

Oh ya? Try it! You thought the cane toads were trouble? Wait until we release the BEAVERS!

But you're in Colorado...

Another good choice for a GMI staff member.

And there's something to CamaroCrazy's post. This really is a well run site, especially considering the [free-of-charge] work done here is better than work done at sites where people get paid to do what they do!

You don't own a G8, so your forum was moved to the dark bottom depths of GMI.
