Need help, very frustrated, weird vibration in my BU

I am very frustrated, and need some ideas. I have a 2008 Malibu 2LT with a 4-cylinder. It has all of sudden developed a weird vibration that comes and goes, and it isn't there all the time. I have a 25 minute commute and it starts about 15 to minutes into the commute on the highway. It starts midly and then gets progressivly worse. I feel it int he front of the car, through the stering wheel, and as it get worse, when I step on the brake pedal. But after I have used my brakes a few times, or the car sets for a few hours it is gone, sometimes it comes back, and sometimes it dosen't. I have had it to the dealership here on two different occassions, and the second time it was there for 3 days, and it never accted up for them when they drove it. It feels to me liek it is coming from the left front, and after it acts up and I stop, it feels like the left front wheel area is much hotter then the right front. So I thought maybe a sticking caliper, but they said they checked it it everything is fine. But everthing is not fine, and I am begining to get very frustrated. I have never had a single issue with this car till now, and I am more frustrated with the dealership, I am not sure they are doing enough, anybody work in service have any ideas? Like I said it comes after about 15 to minutes of highway driving, and I feel it in the sterring wheel and the brake pedal when I step on the pedal, and it always goes away after I use the brakes a few times or he car sits for a while. And the left front feels hotter then the right front after it acts up, I havent noticed any excessive brake dust or burn marks on the rotors. HELP!

2007 Buick Lucerne V-8, excess engine vibration

I have 15,000 miles on my car; for a while I have been experiencing excessive engine vibration at idle when the air conditioner is on. This car is equipped with the Northstar engine. I take it to a Cadillac dealer for service.

When the car was newer it pulled a little bit to the left so I was told that a motor mount was "shimmed" to correct this.

Later on I began to notice this engine vibration to the point that I felt it in the rear view mirror and things looked a little fuzzy on account of this. You can also feel this vibration in the brake pedal, less in the steering wheel.

I took the car in for this complaint and was told that the motor mounts were adjusted; but I am still having the problem. What should be the next step to correct this?

94 Buick Regal 3800 stalls intermitently?

Hi Guys, I had a quick question. I have a 1994 Buick Regal with a 122,000 miles on it. During the summer months the car will completely lose power and die while driving. It will usually start right back up, but sometimes, you have to pull over and wait a few minutes for it to restart. Since the weather has gotten cooler, the car has not stalled, but will buck and it feels like a loss of power. Especially when accelerating to get on the highway. The car has had the Fuel pump, cam sensor, ignition module, and coils replaced. Every 5 to 6 stalls, it will trip the service engine light, and give a code for the cam sensor. I am going to replace the Crank sensor next. Can anyone think what else this could be? I see a service bulletin for the Transmission sensors and loss of power. Has anyone run into this before? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks' for all of your help.
Regards, Paul

Dashes on the tpms after ignition off.

I have a 2007 Suburban. The tire pressure management system shows dashes for all four tires. No trouble light or low pressure warning light is displayed. I have successfully reset or relearned the tire position multiple times. When I relearn, the correct tire pressures are displayed. When I turn off the ignition the values are lost and it displays just dashes again. I have even been to the dealer where they used their J-tool I beleave, to reset the TPMS. Again when I powered off the data was lost. They insist that I need to schedule a service appointment but were unable to tell me what the problem is. I am reluctant to do so because the vehicle is 1000 miles out of warranty and I need the vehicle daily. I am convinced that they do not know what the problem is. I do not want them to replace four good wheel sensors in a trial and error lesson at my expense. I thought maybe someone else may have experienced this or heard of a TSB about it?? I am thinking there is a problem with the remote control module. Thank you for any info you may afford me.

My 2005CSX now has 46,000 miles. It's always been adult driven and no abuse but I have developed a strange occassionally ruff shift in all gears. If I turn off the engine and restart, the problem clears untill it happens again in about 2-3 weeks.

I think the problem is electric since it clears & goes to a normal shift pattern, when cycling the engine.

Any thoughts  John

I'm new to this site. Does anyone know if the chevy silverado 4x4 5.3 2004 model has problems with the transfer case. I have a knock when the trans. is shifting and had the truck back to the dealer. They put some lube on the shaft going into the transfer case and told me it was dry. A few week later it is making the same noise. A friend of mine said he had the same problem with his Truck and was told that the shaft was dry as well. After the warranty expired the transfer case went. I'm thinking the dealer is trying to get me through the warranty and I will have to pay for this repair. Also, my brake light stays on, very dim, even when the motor is off. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I have a 2009 GMC Sierra 2500HD SLT Diesel. In the manual for the DIC, it states that in order to reset a reading to zero, to push the odometer trip stem and hold it in. This feature works on all but one setting in my truck. There is a reading of how many gallons/Litres the truck has used since day one. I have been trying without success to reset this to zero after a fill up. It doesn't reset. I have tried it in metric and imperial measurements, with the engine running and with just the acc switched on. It won't reset. I have held the DIC button in while holding the trip stem, still no luck.
Any one had any idea what I am doing wrong? The only thing I haven't done is reset the Factory reset to initial factory defaults. I am reluctant to do this because of the hassel of getting things set up properly again.
Any help would be appreciated.

Normally with my S-10 I can figure things out either myself or talking with my friends, but I can't figure this one out. I have a 1985 Chevy S-10 that has a 2.8L V6 engine.

The problem is the truck runs well it takes off quickly drives fine, except when it is stopped. Only once it is warmed up does this become a problem. What is happening is when I stop at a light the engine misses every 5-10 seconds and sometimes seems like its going to stall. It has new spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter, and pcv valve.

I just can't think of what it would be if someone could please help it would be greatly appreciated.

Good evening.

So, after getting home from work tonight, pull into my garage. About 30 minutes later, go to get something out of the car (96 Cavalier), and smell oil/fluid. Look under the car, and see a puddle under the driver's side rear wheel. Jacking the car up and looking at it, notice that the brake line to the rear wheel, along with the rear suspension, are covered in fluid. Since this is a steel line, how hard is it to replace (looks to be about a 15 inch section)? How hard is it to bend? Reason I am asking, is it is extremely rusty, and have already used PB blaster on it, knowing that the earliest i will work on it is tomorrow.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey y'all, I picked up my mom's 2000 Chevy Impala LS this evening to have some new tires installed tomorrow. The Impala has the 3800 engine. It has around 225,000 kilometers and I noticed a weird surging/rpm jump when I was driving it.

When cruising at more than 60kph (around 40mph) and applying no throttle the RPM's drop to around 600 and then bounce/jump/surge to about 1400 and then drop to 600 again and that cycle continues. Is anyone familar with this type of condition with that vehicle or engine? Any sort of information would be helpful.

As a side note it seems like the head gasket is starting to fail. At her last oil change she was told that there was a small amount of coolant in her oil and that it was likely due to a bad head gasket. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with this condition (I would assume not.)

Thanks!
