Cadillac has a rich history of churning out exotic cars - in the form of concepts. There was the Cien, Ciel and now the Elmiraj. Yes, there is now no longer any question that Cadillac designers know exactly what the brand needs to take its luxury image to the next level, however the suits in RenCen now need to take the stunning Elmiraj and make it work for production in the real world.

    In Cadillac's defense, they've ...

Throughout the late 1990's and early 2000's performance compacts were all of the rage. The term "Ricer" was born during this era of ridiculously loud exhausts, lots of tuning and garish appearances. At the time, Detroit was so fixed on building trucks and SUVs, all three Detroit based automakers failed to capitalize on the trend in a timely fashion. While the Terrain has been on the market for some time now with no major updates, the 2012 model ended up debuting GM's forward collision warning (FCW) and lane departure warning (LDW) system. It turns out this simple, relatively cheap system makes a big impact.

The simplicity stems from the fact that the entire system utilizes one high-resolution camera to function. The camera is mounted in the windshield, on the right side of the rear-view ...

Welcome to my first-ever GMI blog post! Many times I have thoughts or even tid-bits of information that I'd like to share, but it isn't enough to justify a full article. I'm thinking our new blogs will give me an outlet to relay such. For my first blog post, I'm going to talk about the GMC Envoy.

Recently GM revealed the all-new Chevrolet Trailblazer for global markets. The new Trailblazer is certainly not a crossover; it is based upon an all-new body ...
