No, 6.3 sounds accurate. German mags measure 0-62mph (100kph) while US mags basically measure 3-60mph, since they use "roll-out". They don't start the clock until the car has moved 6" or 12" to mimic timing equipment at a drag strip, which doesn't start counting until the front tires have uncovered the light beam.
0-3mph and 60-62mph adds a considerable amount of time, because you can't just go from stand still to full acceleration in an instant (you have to wait for the weight to transfer and the suspension to settle) and because 60-62mph is done in third gear.
