Thanks! That is indeed exactly what is happening with the car. The vin is 1G1ZU54834F171992. My wife was the one who called the dealer so she either didn't tell them the right thing or they were blowing her off I guess.

They've been pretty good with service and have fixed all the other small maladies with the vehicle since we bought it (from another dealer) but each time it was with me giving them the printout of the related TSB.
