Good find and comparison. It could also be pointed out that GM makes fullsize SUVs in Texas, and have been in Arlington for many decades. So, Toyota isn't really creating jobs in Indiana and Texas. They're increasing sales of their imports, and then killing the GM plants (like Doraville, GA Baltimore, MD, Moriane, OH, OKC, OK, and a bunch of stamping plants).
GM lets go of 30,000 US workers. Is Toyota planning on hiring that many here? Not in the next 50 years.
