Well I don't see why they would
need to bump the displacement any higher. If your engineers can't make magic with 7 liters for the next 20 years, you're in trouble. I mean, how many different iterations / designations of the 350 small block were there over the years? I'd expect a lot. So you see, it could still be a "427" even if it isn't the LS7....
