Re: Dear GM, What I Want for Christmas

I still will stick to the Buick thing. Only problem would be the China sydnrome, but GM could continue that overseas. Buick could maybe return to American shores when China starts to import its cars to the US. But for now, all American Buick's are sad sad items and the division itself clouds and confuses what the other divisions are.
Example.

You have a Pontiac, Buick and GMC dealer.
Pontiac you have a RWD V6 and V8 sedan and coupe. Buick...you have a...RWD V8 sedan that is softer, but more expensive. But why would you pay more for a lesser car? If you were to pay more, why not go to Caddy?
Another. G6 vs Buick Epsilon sedan. Again same deal. If I wanted to pay more over a Pontiac, I could get the nicer and sporty Saturn Aura.
Yet another. GMC Lambda and Buick Lambda. Again, why the need? If you get the GMC, you will probably want more utilitarian mode out of it. IF you want luxury, you can move to the BRX from Caddy, a Saab 9-4x, or the Saturn Outlook.
The Rainer is already overshadowed by the Envoy and 9-7x.
There is nothing that present or futur product can do to save Buick from becoming just another division. It clogs up the chain. With Buick gone, it lets the other divisons breath better.
