Sat in a DTS today!

Since today was a half-day at school I went to the mall. Anyway, the nearby Cadillac/Infinity dealer displays cars in the middle of the mall. Usally they're locked, but today there was actually someone from the dealership, and he was letting people sit in the interior.
Here's what I thought:
First off, truly looks better in real life than in the photos, despite the fact that it was in a light gold color. (my least favorite) Second, The rear end looks nice, and though I see what people mean when they say it looks like a 1990 New Yorker, In person it looks way more Cadillac.
The car looks bigger than the Deville for some reason, though I think they are the same size. Of course, there's nothing wrong with that.
There's obviously a lot of room inside, and the seats were very comfortable. By the way, it had a bench and colum shifter.
The dash fully lived up to my expectations, though I think they over did the texturing on the plastics. I think it was a luxury III package, so the use of real wood was nice, and if it wasn't, the fake wood sure had me fooled.
The keys weren't in so I couldn't use any of the electronics, but the dealer guy probaly wouldn't have let me mess around with them anyway.
Overall, I'm impressed. This car keeps everything I liked about the Deville, and fixed some of the things I didn't. However I don't have a lot of expeirence with the competion, though I also sat in a G35, but they're in a completly differnet class, so comparing them wouldn't be worth it.

Without this car I could have been in to rice

But then again, all those cars have "fart burners" on them. That "fart burner" ads 5-10HP to your car ;some of those small Hondas can whip a Vett off the line. (from anti-rice.com)
So 115hp+10hp=430hp, at least in ricerland
