Well I doubt the 07 Tahoe will yield 20+ MPG combined highway/city. With no change in the drivetrain and only the addition of DOD that would require a 20% boost at each end. I seriously doubt that the 07 Tahoe will ever get into 4 cylinder mode long enough to get a 20% percent boost in city milage. I think that they know now that they did not do enough or otherwise you would not see them hurrying to get a diesel in there. From what I have read on DOD the actual results come in at between 8 & 12 percent anyway. No, the Gm execs flopped here.
