Actually, the key is that the article says the combined
unadjusted fuel economy is 20.5 for 2WD and 20.1 for 4WD. Unfortunately, the EPA adjusted numbers (which are the window sticker #'s) are reduced by 10% City/ 22% Highway. Then the combined is some ratio (70/30?) between the Hwy/City cycles.
