I had a 1998 Malibu, and that thing was a piece. And to make it worse, it was built here in OKC. I have not driven a new one, but I am sure that it has to be better than the '98 that I had. I agree that the interior is terrible. The AURA is on the same platform, and I am sure glad that they got the interior right on that one!
