I think what espo was trying to say is that the LS2 is similar to the 1955's 265 c.i. small block in that it is a pushrod engine, thus throwing egg in the face of all those "over head cam"/"more technologically advanced engine" folk that would like to convince everyone that a cam-in-block engine is ancient. I do not think he actually believes the motors are similar or have even one part that is interchangeable. I may be wrong. . .

Anyhow, I too love the new vette and like it more and more with everyone that I see. I was skeptical about the fixed headlights at first, but now love them. Great Job GM, now where is my Chevelle. . .
