I see no reason, after an initial release to get people used to the concept, they can't apply it to every single vehicle they sell. the prius has a thing that keeps engine oils warm and sends it through the engine each start-up to get the gas engine to ideal temeratures in seconds, instead of letting the car get warm in idle
