The tracks are too short. But that seems to vary. 2 years ago the Corvette track I drove had a nice long straightaway after a short turn. The GTO track had a good stretch of road right from the start line, to encourage a tire squealing start.

Too many people were getting into Corvettes and GTOs and driving them like they were Aveos, and the lame attendants were motioning me to follow them --- of course I would catch up with them almost instantly and have to drive 15 mph the rest of the way.

I enjoy the show more for the chance to get in and feel / look at all of the different models, and often models from the car show are also on display and you can sit in them.

The free Swag and food is also good.
