The fact of the matter is that GM is broke and needs money. I know it may not be what its worth but its better than just to have the trademark to sit on, and not do anything with it.
I mean why not just shut down Hummer, Saab, Saturn, Opel & Vauxhall?
IF theres money to be made, I say go for it.
GM is just being dumb.
