Review: 2010 Buick Lacrosse

Got a chnace to check out a fully functioning new Lacrosse. i didnt drive it but got to go over everything else:

Exterior:
First thing I noticed was how big it is. It fits in with the Lexus GS, 5 series, CTS, etc...
It is very good looking, with a "swoopspear" running along the beltline that looks amazing in person. The wheels options are nice. The taillights remind me of the Lexus LS, they're l.e.d. and look great lit up. Overall the best looking Buick ever made. It will also appeal to the under 30 crowd.

Interior:
This is where we have a winner. When you open the door the cabin fills with ambient blue lighting.. and it is all over! They had the blue lit "BUICK" door sills added as well. Next I looked at the door panels and the shape is pleasing, and they are a mix of soft touch plastic and leather. Same goes for the dash. I sat in the front and back, plenty of leg room and super comfy seats. They are also heated and ventilated in front. And both sides were optioned with 8 way full adjusting power. The new GM steering wheel felt good and was the right size, with optional heating.
Next I spent quite some time playing around with the center stack. The new GM NAV system is amazing, with Apple/Windows like colors and graphics, and the newer controls similar in the Insignia are easy even though there's way more buttons than typical GM cars. You can use it as a touch screen or use a select wheel with back button. I think it would take too much to explain everything it can do, but lets just say it blows every other NAV on the market away.
Im pleased to annouce that yes, it has push button start... no more complaining!
Now the crowning jewel of my time in the Lacrosse: the gauge cluster. WOW WOW WOW. Since I am a visual person, the look of the gauges have always been high on my list. If anyone has sat in a Lexus IS, with its crisp white gauges and graphics, you'll know they were one of the best. The lacrosse hands down beats it. GM has finally came out with class winning gauges. They have great color, very crisp, bright, with nice ambience. In between the gauges is the new DIC screen. I only saw the one in the CXS, but the fact that they put a full color, high res, animated DIC is completely above and beyond what I expected. You'll have to see it to believe it. Its amazing.
I wont go into every option, have a look at buick.com for that.
Good job GM. Now do this in every car.

**(also, there is a model code for a Buick lacrosse 4 cyl CX model: 4GB69 which I havent seen mentioned yet, dont know when its coming)**
