Interesting - I've had three GM cars with the trip computer and they always come out optomistic - 94 Grand Prix GTP, 02 Grand Prix GTP and the 08 Malibu LTZ. I just had a thought - I wonder if the computers calculation of the milage are calibrated for the regular V6s and not the upper level one's in the cars I've had.... I calculate every tank I put in - never once have I gotten higher than the trip computer...
