Auto-makers have said for years that health care costs are killing their bottom line. And the so-called legacy costs, which are health care costs of retirees both hourly AND salary.
So what is the solution, stop paying for employee health care? Stop paying retiree health care? Or just a thought, if the cash strapped corporations are in front of Congress anyway, why not ask for help with health care?
