I hate to tell you but these are the types of vehicles GM needs to tell the idiots in congress they are coming out with. As much as people may like the G8 GXP or Camaro the media and congressmen will see them as the "old GM" trying to force "low tech" gas guzzlers onto consumers. As far as reputation goes the G3 is exactly what politicians want to see from GM. They may ride around in Suburbans but they will insist that GM make efficient subcompacts for the rest of us.

HOw much longer can the media keep arguing that GM should fail because its not making enough small cars and hybrids when gas is headed for $2 a gallon? Do you really think Americans will be paying over MSRP for a civic when gas is this cheap?
