Otherwise, this platform is stuck in the 1980s and shouldnt' be associated with Cadillac or Buick. I've driven a V8 Lucerne and a DHS....comfortable, quiet, smooth, but with horrible steering and aweful proportions (massive front overhang!!) The Northstar V8/4 speed combo is also a thirsty slouch compared to GM's own 3.6L 6 speed combo and most of the Japanese V6 engines.

The T900 trucks seriously have better steering feel. I hear the DTS has a slightly better suspension than the Lucerne and old DHS, but it had better be a something radical to improve the steering.
Transanction prices are also right.
