The CATA bus system utilizes several hybrid-electric busses which have the GM two-mode system. They apparently receive in stop-and-go traffic with the 62' partitioned busses around 8-9 mpg.

Yep, I watch those busses buzz by Bud Kouts all day long.That is an easy quick fix for a class A motor coach without dropping HP.
