The day of the shadetree mechanic is going away. With all the pollution controls on cars nowadays, they are a lot harder to work on and modify to still be street-legal.
They should bring out more factory hotrods. How about a 350 horsepower Turbo Alpha Cadillac, make mine the convertible. I'd buy one in a New York minute!
