Sometimes I hate even seeing these Cadillac reports just because of the "Caddy can never get it right" type postings...

BMW doesn't have a lesser brand to share engines with, unless they find a way to shoehorn the 6 into a Mini.

MB would have done well to incorporate the Hemi into its E-Class or maybe some other models when they still owned most of Chrysler.

VW/Audi have shared many engines in the past.

Cadillac, let alone any of GM's other brands have not been spared from sharing since the late '70s unfortunately, even when GM controlled almost 2/3rds of the market. It's stupid that they shared engines then, but nowadays, when GM's struggling and living off of Ramen noodles, engine sharing is inevitable.

If Billy Durant was still around he'd probably buy Kia and use it to own GM again, then maybe Cadillac would start building their own engines again.
