Friends of ours have a 2003 Cadillac DeVille which is basically the same thing and I quite often drive it since I'm the designated driver. They really are a smooth and comfortable car to drive. 21.6 MPG is pretty respectable for city driving considering this is a V8 powered land yacht. What is disappointing with these cars is how badly they depreciate. I can buy a 2007 DTS for $25 grand when they cost almost $60 grand new. That is a pretty good price considering what you get with it, however the only time I would consider one is if it came with the parking sensors (you need them in tight spaces) and if gas prices were what they were 5 years ago.
