I can't tell you just how sickening I find this prospect. I absolutely loathe the prospect of losing any more of our great American names.

I am 100% in favour of GM, Ford and Chrysler setting up a "Joint Assistance Office" . . . a think tank or skunkworks type of operation to consider and review any and all scenarios where joint action would be mutually beneficial, and then, once identified, fast track them to production.

But mergers . . . no.
